Happy Friday Families!  This week students continued to build community within our classroom. We learned about ourselves as learners in a new environment and continued to have some joyful moments to begin our year. Students got access to their Google Classroom accounts, learned some fun math games and did some about me writing. Just a few reminders about the coming weeks: - Meet the Teacher Night Open House is Thursday September 21st 4:00-7:30pm - If you have any empty toilet paper rolls, please send them into the school... instruments are in the making, and music is in need! - Scholastic book flyers are coming home today, as students were very excited about reading this year, and there are some good deals for families if they are wanting to have books at home! :) Our class code is RC147808. Books will be shipped to the school and sent home with your student when they arrive! Orders for September are due by the 29th. Have a great weekend! Kendra
