Happy Groundhog Day! Grade 4's this week started their new science unit on Space! They also dove into the planning stages of their story writing and focused their math practice on multiplication and division. Report cards became available online via PowerSchool Tuesday this week, please ensure you can view your students! What beautiful weather we have had this week! We also got a special surprise, Frank our decomposing pumpkin finally sprouted three babies!  FYI! Our school is planning on participating in the Alberta Winter Walk Day on Wednesday, February 7 at 10am.  Walking is a great way to enjoy a beautiful winter day.  We will walk outside around the block with our buddy classes, on the sidewalk, weather permitting.  Students are asked to dress for the weather to enjoy the fresh, crisp Alberta air (i.e coats, mitts, boots and snow pants) while visiting with their buddies. Scholastic orders for February will be due February 19th!  Have a great weekend!
