 Happy Summer Solstice and National Indigenous Peoples Day! Let us remember the past so we don't repeat it. What an amazing second last week! Started off with a successful field trip to the Calgary Zoo! Thank you to all our parent volunteers! Grade 4's explored probability this week, learned about scientific sketching for their living sytems unit and finished up their free verse rap songs! 4 More Days To Go!

 We are almost there! Reminder we are heading to the Zoo on Monday, please make sure your student is dressed and prepared for the weather! We continued our learning of BEDMAS this week in Math, and had the most amazing experience with Trickster Theater this week! In Science students are began learning about living organisms.

 Grade 4 students this week continued their exploration of important events and places in Alberta. Began their introductory lessons for algebra, and have some more fun doing their evidence writing through our red and green flag activities.  Important Dates Coming Up: -All library books due back this week ASAP! This is extremely important, especially if you will not be at EMJ next year! -Zoo Trip with Buddies June 17th!
