 Happy Mother's Day Weekend!

I hope everyone enjoys the beautiful weather we are going to have.

This week grade 4's continued learning about their Earth systems, focusing on water. We continued a new poem the Clerihew, made it almost halfway in James and the Giant Peach, and moved into our measurement unit in math.


Important upcoming dates:

-May 23rd School Dance

-May 31st Science Group Presentations Due

-All library books due back to the school by May 30th

-June 3rd Last day to get in Scholastic Book Orders for this school year.

-June 6th James And The Giant Peach Matchbook Summaries Due

 Happy Fall Break Families! I hope this week off gives you time to rest and recharge! With cold and flu season upon us make sure you take care of yourself! This week students continued to prepare themselves for Math Stations that will begin after the break, by learning different strategies for addition. June 7th

 Grade 4 students this week continued their exploration of important events and places in Alberta. Began their introductory lessons for algebra, and have some more fun doing their evidence writing through our red and green flag activities.  Important Dates Coming Up: -All library books due back this week ASAP! This is extremely important, especially if you will not be at EMJ next year! -Zoo Trip with Buddies June 17th!   Happy Friday Families! We made it through the first two days of the new school year!
