Students this week wrapped up their math olympics and measurement in non-standard units. Gave an amazing final push with working on their science group presentations, and James and the Giant Peach Matchbooks. Grade 4's also revisited evidence based writing with "Who would win" battles in the classroom!

-May 31st Science Group Presentations Due

-All library books due back to the school next week!

-June 3rd Last day to get in Scholastic Book Orders for this school year.

 Happy Fall Break Families! I hope this week off gives you time to rest and recharge! With cold and flu season upon us make sure you take care of yourself! This week students continued to prepare themselves for Math Stations that will begin after the break, by learning different strategies for addition. We learned about annotating and finding information in large bodies of text in social studies on fossils in Alberta, and continued our writing strategies and morphology in literacy! June 7th

 Grade 4 students this week continued their exploration of important events and places in Alberta. Began their introductory lessons for algebra, and have some more fun doing their evidence writing through our red and green flag activities.  Important Dates Coming Up: -All library books due back this week ASAP! This is extremely important, especially if you will not be at EMJ next year! -Zoo Trip with Buddies June 17th!   Happy Friday Families! We made it through the first two days of the new school year!
