 Happy Friday Families!

We made it through the first two days of the new school year! It has been so nice to see everyone back. 

Just a few reminders as we head into the long weekend for Tuesday:

- Students will line up each morning in their designated space by the playground doors each morning, they will also be dismissed from here each day.

- Please be sure to add our class instagram to your daily/weekly checks as it will be the best way to communicate what is going on in our classroom https://www.instagram.com/msflanigansclass/

- Our weekly blog will be briefly updated at the end of each week https://missflanigansclass.blogspot.com/

- Please make sure your student comes to school with a healthy snack, lunch and water bottle each day. ALL GARBAGE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN HOME WITH STUDENTS IN THEIR LUNCH KIT EACH DAY (Boomerang Lunch/Litterless Lunch.) Students are able to recycle juice boxes at the school however to avoide sticky messes!

- If your student does not yet have a pair of indoor shoes to change into please be sure to send them asap! If they are not quite confident in tieing their own shoes yet, please help them practice at home!

June 7th

 Grade 4 students this week continued their exploration of important events and places in Alberta. Began their introductory lessons for algebra, and have some more fun doing their evidence writing through our red and green flag activities.  Important Dates Coming Up: -All library books due back this week ASAP! This is extremely important, especially if you will not be at EMJ next year! -Zoo Trip with Buddies June 17th!
